The eye-catching 3D knitted covers of Glow Knit have a semi-transparent and soft three-dimensional look. The covers create a surprising effect when the light is switched on and a warm and sturdy effect when switched off. Glow Knit is available in four colours: Rust, Pebble, Anthracite and White.
The classic Dutch bicycle provided the inspiration for this unique design by Marc de Groot. He based his design on the most characteristic element of the bicycle: the spoked wheels. And specifically, wire-spoked wheels from the 1920s. The Glow’s visible arch construction of spring steel and the stretch fabric shade reinforce the strong, graphic lines. The lamp’s open construction directs light up and down, creating a pleasant light effect in the room. Glow is available in three different sizes: S, M and L.
Designer Marc de Groot won the 100% Design Prize with Glow in 2006.
