Hollands Licht / Pendants & Suspension Lights / Glow

This unencumbered pendant light has a strong and graphic design thanks to the visible arch construction of spring steel and stretch fabric. Glow is manufactured in the workshop of a social enterprise in The Hague by individuals who fall outside the labour market.

For the design, Marc de Groot found his inspiration in classic wire-spoked wheels from the 1920s. Due to the open construction, the light is directed not only down but also up, which creates a pleasant effect in the space. Glow is available in four different sizes (S, M, L and XL) in black, white and grey. With a diameter of no less than 180cm, the impressive XL is custom made on request. Despite its size, the pendant light retains – literally and figuratively – an open and light character.
