The armchair and its sofa are sensibly dimensioned seats which provide highly satisfactory comfort without taking up too much floor space. The elegance of the support / leg uprights lies in the superb turned shape of the legs and the arm-rest supports, carved at the knees and bases with fine cabling or fine horizontal fluting.
The attachment of the arm rests to the back is elegantly arranged in the extension of the line of the stiles. The original hexagonal arm rest head should be noted.
