The Cave collection by Arte Veneziana draws inspiration from the historic travertine quarries of Tivoli, located between the Via Tiburtina and the River Aniene. These ancient quarries, first opened by the Romans in the 3rd century BC, supplied the distinctive stone that became a defining material in the architecture and monuments of Rome.

Crafted from Roman Travertine, Cave celebrates the timeless beauty of Lapis Tiburtinus, a naturally porous calcareous stone distinguished by its elegant striations and organic cavities. A careful polishing process enhances these natural textures while preserving the authentic character and expressive depth of the material.
