Opus romano matt is a through-body colored sintered glass enamel mosaic that undergoes a treatment that imbues it with a satin finish that is also non-slip. It retains all of the qualitative and aesthetic features of glass mosaics but is much more durable, thus making it well-suited to use in floors, even in public places or high-traffic areas, both indoors and out. The matt version of the opus romano is especially appropriate in settings where a non-slip surface is required, like the borders of swimming pools or in spas.
