Christopher visited the Paris apartment of 'Coco' Chanel at 31 Rue Cambon over a period of years, and was always besotted by this timeless iconic sofa which formed the centerpiece of her upper floor pied-à-terre, indeed the quilted cushions became the inspiration behind her famous 2.55 shoulder handbag. Eight-way hand tied spring base, with pocket coil seat cushions encased in high-resilient fill and feathered down jacket. Feathered down throw pillows mixed with PolyFiber for added support.
